“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” –Ephesians 4:16
I am blessed to have a role in the education of children at Reformed Heritage Christian School. I believe students need to become life-long learners, feel loved in the classroom, and be rightly related to the Savior. Most of my teaching time has been spent in first grade reading and math, but most of my heart has been with students of varied learning needs.
Kalamazoo has been my home since 1992. My husband and I have two adult children. Our son is completing a degree in writing. Our daughter, who is severely disabled, keeps our home nest filled. Spare time at our house usually means sitting in the living room talking, laughing, and watching videos together.
I have taught at Providence Christian School, Otsego Christian Academy, and committed a year to teaching English as a second language, homeschool students, and students with autism. It is a pleasure to be part of the team at Reformed Heritage Christian School.
