BS, Western Michigan University, Elementary Education with Math/Science and Spanish minors
I was born and raised in Kalamazoo. After graduating from high school, I went on to Western Michigan University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in Math/Science and Spanish. I taught preschool and young 5’s for three years but after the birth of my first child decided to stay home full time. When it came time to choose a school for our children, we were drawn to RHCS because of its family atmosphere, small class size, and strong Biblical foundation. I have enjoyed volunteering on several committees over the years. When the need arose for a Spanish and Science teacher, I was excited to get back into teaching. I am thoroughly enjoying interacting with students and watching them grow spiritually, academically, and socially.
I enjoy gardening, hiking, being outdoors, and camping with my husband Matt and our children. I also enjoy being involved in my church through teaching Sunday school and attending Bible Study.
